This delicate choker necklace - known as a 'collier de chien' in French - is created from numerous tiny, drilled natural seed pearls, which have been woven together to create an intricate pattern.
It would have originally been fastened by a ribbon, which was missing when I sourced it. I have added a contemporary black velvet ribbon, ensuring it is ready to be worn and enjoyed immediately.

Age: Early 19th Century, also known as the Georgian era, circa 1820s.
Material: The fittings have been acid-tested as being 9k gold.
Condition: In great antique condition with only minor wear, consistent with its age.
